Most chartered
Citation XLS+
The most-flown midsize jet in North America. A true stand-up cabin that still gets into 3,600 feet of runway — the reason it appears on more charter fleets than anything else in the class.
The class where charter stops being a compromise. A cabin you can nearly stand in, four to five hours of range, room for eight with their bags, and a flight attendant if you want one.

Manufacturer figures are published maximums under ideal conditions. Charter figures reflect how these aircraft are actually configured and flown — full fuel with four to five passengers, IFR reserves, and real-world runway margins. Your advisor confirms the exact tail's numbers before you sign.
If your question isn't here, an advisor answers it in minutes — not in a brochure.
Call an advisor →In the Citation Latitude and Praetor 500, yes — six feet of cabin height with a flat floor. The XLS+, Hawker 900XP and Learjet 60XR are around five feet eight, so most adults stand with a slight stoop. If standing matters, we quote the first two.
Eastbound, almost always. Westbound into winter headwinds, Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles can need a fuel stop in an XLS+ or Learjet 60XR — the Latitude, Hawker 900XP and Praetor 500 make it. We model the actual winds for your date before quoting rather than after.
This is the class where it becomes practical. Most midsize tails can carry a cabin attendant on request, which brings hot service, real glassware, and a galley rather than a cabinet. Ask at booking — attendants are scheduled, not summoned.
Eight seats and eight bags is comfortable in a Latitude or Praetor 500 and tight in a Hawker 900XP, which has a large cabin but modest baggage volume. Golf bags and ski tubes all fit in this class; send us the list and we match the aircraft to it.
On the Latitude and Praetor 500, yes — Ka-band or equivalent, good enough for calls and video. On older XLS+ and Hawker tails it is often an air-to-ground system that works over the continental US but not over water. We confirm the specific tail before you count on it.
Age, interior condition, crew experience, home base, and whether the leg positions empty all move the number. That is why we show a market band, not a fixed rate — and why the quote itemises every line.
